More Christmas Decor...The Tree

I gave you a sneak peak of my Christmas tree before Thanksgiving and I am finally getting around to sharing the finished product with you. I love the turquoise, green and cream color scheme that I changed to this year. While it doesn't scream "traditional christmas", it is still brings the spirit of the season into our home. There is lots of glitter and sparkle, just like on my mantel. My personal style is pretty classic, but my Christmas decor may be a little over the top...and I wouldn't have it any other way! :)

Two things I know for sure...

1. A photographer I am not.
2. I really need a new camera....Santa?

  17. @ Jodie I couldn't reply directly to you, so I hope you see this. I am so glad you like the tree. As far as the ribbon goes, I bought 3 different kinds of ribbon and cut each spool into about 1 -to 1 1/2 yard pieces. I made a loop at the top of each piece and then secured it with piece of floral wire. I then just placed each piece of ribbon on the tree and let it cascade down. To get the ribbon to stay, I simply just tuck it back in the tree in various places. This gives the ribbon the illusion of being wrapped and twisted in and out of the tree. I hope that helps.
