Brass Wall Sconces Under $150

Happy Friday, everyone! I hope you all had a great week! My kids are back in school and I am finally finding some time to get back to blogging. :)

If you've been following me for a while, you know that I have a deep and abiding love for brass and gold. Especially when it comes to lighting, and even more so when we are talking about sconces. I love using them in my projects, but I know that they can be spendy. While I truly believe good lighting is worth the investment, I also realize many people don't have the budget for those gorgeous, shiny designer brass fixtures. The good news is, that as brass and gold lighting continues to increase in popularity, manufacturers are making them more available to the masses and at lower price points. Today, I've rounded up some of favorite brass wall sconces for you, all less than $150.00 each. Many in my round up are less than $75.00! Amazing, right?!?! Check them out...

Client Project Reveal: Harvey Project Shared Girls' Bedroom

I'm so happy to be sharing this sweet Girls' Shared Room from the Harvey Project. I have had the opportunity to work with these clients over the last 3 1/2 years, transforming different rooms in their home. You can see the Family Room, Master Bedroom and Nursery reveals in past posts on the blog.

Since Mom, Dad and Baby Sister's rooms were already done, it was time for the 2 older sisters, ages 4 and 6 to have their shared bedroom transformed into a fun, functional space that will be age appropriate for years to come. Since my client's are little girls, you can bet that pink and purple was on the wish list for their new room. Their Mom and I worked together to make sure their new room felt youthful, but not overtly childish. I used art, textiles and furniture that incorporated the pink and purple color scheme in an updated and more mature way. The result is a pretty shared room that is perfect for these two sweet sisters, now, and for years to come. Take a look.

I wish you could have seen the reaction the girls had to their new room! They love it and that is what makes me the most happy!
