I'm so happy to be sharing this sweet Girls' Shared Room from the Harvey Project. I have had the opportunity to work with these clients over the last 3 1/2 years, transforming different rooms in their home. You can see the Family Room, Master Bedroom and Nursery reveals in past posts on the blog.
Since Mom, Dad and Baby Sister's rooms were already done, it was time for the 2 older sisters, ages 4 and 6 to have their shared bedroom transformed into a fun, functional space that will be age appropriate for years to come. Since my client's are little girls, you can bet that pink and purple was on the wish list for their new room. Their Mom and I worked together to make sure their new room felt youthful, but not overtly childish. I used art, textiles and furniture that incorporated the pink and purple color scheme in an updated and more mature way. The result is a pretty shared room that is perfect for these two sweet sisters, now, and for years to come. Take a look.
I wish you could have seen the reaction the girls had to their new room! They love it and that is what makes me the most happy!
